Allowing or Blocking Senders

Learn how to manage your sender allow and block lists, safely whitelist trusted contacts, and block spammy domains using wildcard rules.

How to Safely Allow Trusted Senders

To ensure emails from people you trust always reach your inbox, add them to your allow list:

  1. Visit quarantine.thexyz.com
  2. Log in using your email address and one-time link
  3. Navigate to Sender Allow List
  4. Enter the sender's address (e.g. [email protected]) or domain (e.g. example.com)
  5. Click save

You can choose whether to match by envelope sender, header sender, or both.

Blocking Spammy Domains

If you’re receiving unwanted mail, you can block senders entirely:

  • Block a specific address: [email protected]
  • Block an entire domain: badsite.com
  • Block by TLD: *.ru, *.cn, etc.

Blocked senders are rejected before quarantine — you’ll never see them again.

Wildcard Support

Use * to match groups of senders:

  • *.nl — block or allow all from the Netherlands TLD
  • example.com — allow or block everyone at that domain
  • marketing@* — match all marketing emails from any domain
